Our Workshops
DCF Members are invited to take part in any number of workshops catering for all levels of ability, including general farm work, gardening, arts, crafts, cooking, sports games, basic mechanics, board games and woodwork. By participating in our workshops, we aim to give our members satisfaction and pride in creating an environment which they can enjoy and share with the broader community.

ART FROM THE HEART
Art and creative workshops designed to accommodate all levels of ability. Using a variety of mediums, each workshop develops a project based on participant’s interests. Facilitated by a
teaching artist, the goal is for each participant to enjoy the process and come away with a piece they are proud of.

GARDEN GURUS
At the farm we have several bountiful veggie gardens, a rose garden and a potting shed. We are looking for gardening enthusiasts (or those who love pottering about) to join our gardening club to keep the crops coming and the flowers blooming. We have special events during the year to complement the season and particular member interests. Often our Garden Gurus stay for our cooking workshop to prepare something delicious straight from the garden.
Thursdays 1pm - 3pm
Fridays 1pm - 2pm

COOKING with love
COOKING with love
We are so lucky in the South West to have such amazing fresh produce at our doorstep. And in the case of DCF, literally at our doorstep! Our Garden Gurus keep our veggie gardens in abundance so there is always something to harvest and use in our weekly cooking sessions.
Fridays 2pm - 4pm

WILD AND WOOLLY
Knitting and crochet club. Making with purpose – whether it’s your own personal project or part of a donation to the Geographe Wildlife Association (possum and joey pouches) or granny squares for rugs. Join us for a creative and social afternoon.
Tuesday 2pm - 4pm

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK – on the Farm
If you enjoy tinkering about and having the satisfaction of achieving a job well done, join our Farm Crew to help out on the land or in the shed. Jobs to complete can be anything from fixing a fence, collecting wood for a bonfire or general farm maintenance. There is always a cuppa and chat when the job is done and the sense of accomplishment is high.
